HDD space, some prefer using stable older releases rather than bleeding edge technology. If we have the same there should be no issue in burning a copy and having the same made as part of the library.

I'd have thought ftp://ftp.fsn.hu and kando.hu were better/faster resources for iso/raw images. I have consistently got better throughputs getting isos from the above servers as well as the Swiss sunsite at cnlab.ch, and freenet.de. Megamirror services like planetmirror.com and the UK mirror service seem to have slowed down considerably.
BTW, do many people here download use Bittorrent, and freecache from archive.org?
