After a no of tries I was able to install RedHat 9 on my system, how it worked, still beats me. I had not made any change to my hardware. It just worked.

As regards, PCQuest Linux 8.0 ... never used it. Btw, installation of Redhat 8.0 also failed on my System. (Check the archives ... for more details ... and the response that I got in return ... thx all for your reply).

I have knoppix 3.2 ... will be trying that possibly next weekend, when I have sometime on hand. Try Gentoo or Morphix ... both support NVidia (this again was a response to my mail, I crossed checked this on the net).
