You need to download the Sify client for Linux from their site. Try visiting any website without connecting, and you would be led to their download site.

You can setup your ethernet card using the "neat" command from the console. Your IP address, netmask and default gateway (probably 10.10.251.1) should be the same as in Windows. Sometimes, the problem occurs with MAC address because Sify binds to your MAC address. You may need to contact their crappy customer support to reset your MAC settings.

You can then connect using the command "sifyconnect -l".

If you need a GUI client similar to windows, then you can download their client for MAC OS. This is written in Java, so you would also need to download the java runtime environment (jre1.5.0_02).
