Just finished it. We have it at the NCST library. Unfortunately, outsiders can't borrow from there. It's a really good book, one that I even read standing up in a bus. It's more appealing to me because Stoll is a Physicist turned security analyst (much the way I'm moving).
It was also easy for me to relate to much of it because I've been to Berkeley and have seen all the buildings and roads referred to.
After that, you'd probably want to read `Takedown'. Not as good, but interesting nonetheless. Shimomura is also a physicist turned security analyst.

Isn't he the same guy who busted Kevin Mitnick?
IIRC, thats what "The Cuckoo's Egg" is about. How Shinomura busted Kevin.

The Cuckoo's Egg is about how Clifford Stoll - a Physicist - caught the Hanover Hacker. It involved the KGB, CIA, FBI, NSA, ASOFI, and loads of other agencies in the US and Germany. Amazing stories of tracing phone lines across digital and analog (mechanical relay) lines.
