I am using Acer Aspire One and am getting the following error msg in trying to use the software updater when it tries to resolve dependencies. Anyone? Please help

Are you trying to update a very old installation?

Software updater is a broad term. What are you exactly trying to do? Anyway avoid an apt-get distro upgrade as it can mess up your installation. Do a fresh install if you want the latest distro version.
