Hello everybody, Friends, I'd like to ask all of u some questions.
1) Can anybody of u help me out with the process of email archival by pointing out any web resources, books, links etc. I need to know what exactly email archival means.
2)I am trying to run two s/w on RedHat Linux FC1 . These are Powermail and Aemail, but I am facing some configuration problems. Can anybody help me out there? Can anybody suggest some alternative softwares on Linux/Unix platfoms for email archival or are there any email clients which offer archival capabilities?

If need to archive mailing list emails, especially mailman mailing list manager, there is a good tool called namazu which can archive the emails. I think we have been using it for ilug-bom.org.in mailing list since quite long.
You can mould namazu to archive emails for your purpose and probably share it with the list which would be great!
