Apropos the recent discussion on improving linux's prospects, thought this might be interesting. Netbooks make sense in India, provided people do not look down upon them as downmarket.

And also people if people do not look down upon linux as crap and "some thing developed in a non-professional and unorganised way ".
We must create some opportunities for Hardware dealers to make business with the entire FOSS stack. And netbook really looks to be a good entry point.
