From the page history, I see that Mehul's request for Edubuntu was
edited out. Any idea why?

I did it myself as I can't see any alternate cd for edubuntu. I have downloaded xubuntu now and Easwar Hariharan has offered me edubuntu live CD. Anybody has any ideas if that can be used as a source for installing packages? I remember ubuntu detecting the live CD as a repository and I was able to install couple of packages from it.
