My gnome panel won't start. It keeps trying to start, gives this error message:

Gdk-ERROR **: BadPixmap (invalid Pixmap parameter) serial 602 error_code 4 request_code 2 minor_code 0 Gdk-ERROR **: BadPixmap (invalid Pixmap parameter) serial 622 error_code 4 request_code 2 minor_code 0 Gdk-ERROR **: BadPixmap (invalid Pixmap parameter) serial 610 error_code 4 request_code 2 minor_code 0

And quits. Then tries to start again and the cycle continues in an infinite loop. pid of panel keeps changing during this.

I have redhat 6.0. This happened just after I upgraded gnome-core to 1.0.55. Previous version was 1.0.4 I think.

Any ideas?
