Dear All, I need help in installing JDK & JRE on debian 2.6.18-6-386. I had tried my level best to install them but could not. Please help me in getting it done.

Please mention your Debian Distribution!
Two steps: 1. Make sure you have enable 'non-free' in /etc/apt/sources.list 2. apt-get update && apt-get install sun-java5-jdk

JRE is available for download through apt repositories.
