Hi people,
Remember my harddisk problem? Well, the drive finally died yesterday. My router is currently down and that is creating a lot of problems for me. I need a second hand harddisk - 1G/2G/4G/6G/10G....anything will do. I will be paying out of my pocket money so if you're price is too high then I may not be able to afford it. I am willing to pay a max of 900 bucks for a decent 6 or 10G seagate harddisk without badsectors. Please contact me off list with your price.
Pennywise pound foolish. U are throwing good money after bad. Get a new disk it will last for 3 to 4 yrs at least, running linux. With a 2nd hand u are risking failure within 6 months, particularly as u are running 24/7.

Getting a *new* disk that would be compatible with that "Baba Adam ke zamaane ka" machine is almost impossible. That probably why he's looking for a second hand disk.

Yep precisely. I don't think my mobo will recognize anything about 10G.

There are no new drives in the market which are < 40GB. Anyway, if you do have or know someone with a second hand drive <=10G and would like to sell(or donate it :P) it, then please drop me a line.
