Guys.. i am brand new to linux.. and if mandrake 8.2 was not so user friendly.. i would have dismissed it just as much.. now i am hooked. I have a little programming bg.. hence the interest in linux.. but i am completely new to the unix/linux paradigm. mostly done work on windows. Hence find navigating throug linux a little confusing... Any of you know of a decent website or book.. that i can start learning with?

Many people prefer to read RedHat linux bible (which ever is the latest), I learnt a lot from Linux Complete Reference. But if you want to enjoy your sucess then the best place is /usr/share/doc/* Other places include tldp.org and linux.org.
