Greetings,
The meeting will be on 14th December 2003. Is any location fixed for the next LUG meeting? I would like to know if there is any existing agenda or should we discuss it online and decide it.
Bye.

The meets are meant to help increase direct interaction among the LUG members ... feel free to attend and even get your friends along ... there are no formalities. The agenda is simply a make sure that people have an idea of what to do when we meet! Usually includes demos and talks by members on particular topics.

Hi
I would like to know whether are any sponsorship programs also available to support LUG.

There is no official sponsorship, or even a mechanism to allow people to do that ... some people do donate things once in a while ... like hard disk for the server, domain registration, venues and snacks at the meets ... stuff like that. So far the LUG has mostly remained an unofficial, informal body although its been around for more than five years now, IIRC.
There was talk about registering the LUG so that we can start maintaining accounts and actively use our name to conduct seminars, workshops, certification etc. Saswata had offered his help for accounting purposes. But its difficult to find people who are ready to do the leg-work. Nagarjuna has already done enough for FSF-India. One suggestion was to work under the FSF as an umbrella organisation taking care of our accounts.
