Dear Luggers,

Its 2.40 am and I finally got my modem working in RHEL. The problem was that I had piled up many drivers one over another. I did a fresh install of the OS and then installation and setup was as smooth as butter. I also observe that though the site says that the free driver version is limited to 14kbps, I am able to connect at 56Kbps.

I am sending this mail from evolution in RHEL and this is my very fisrt mail to you all and thanks to all of you, especially the admin for this lovely forum.
