Hi all. How does one install windows on a machine with linux? Where / how does one get a licenced copy that does not need it to phone M$ mother ship.
I have installed M$ junk since 2000 nad havent used M$ sice 2003.

You can buy a Win 10 licenced from any vendor and it comes with a pen drive and serial number. During or after installation it will activate online. When creating the user choose the option to not use a Microsoft account. It is misleading and tries to make you feel you don't have an option but the next step will have it. Don't connect the LAN wire till the steps are complete.
