http://johnturner.com/howto/apache-tomcat-howto.html is an excellent reference, esp for Apache-Tomcat integration on the Solaris.
The book "Tomcat Definitive Guide" published by O'Reilly in 2003 also has a chapter devoted to Apache - Tomcat integration.
Also, you may find it beneficial to use mod_jk instead of mod_webapp.
mod_jk (Jk/jk2 protocol) has good developer support. Development, bug fixes and, feature additions take place regularly. This can be used for connectivity between Tomcat and Apache 1.x as well as 2.x
mod_webapp, authored by Pier Fumagalli, is supposed to be the "ideal" way to achieve tomcat-apache integration. It uses the APR library, follows recommended Apache guidelines, etc, but is not supported anymore because of lack of developer interest. Also mod_webapp is purely for Apache 2.x

I need just a small configuration for pine. I searched a lot but I could not find the solution. I want to do this:
I wish to set pine configuration such that when ever I compose a new mail or reply to a mail, then it is should be automatically "BCC"ed to some predefined address.
For example: I compose a mail to abc@india.com , then the mail should go to abc@india.com as well as xyz@usa.com
Infact, if I compose a mail to anyone, then one copy should go to the intended person and one should go to xyz@usa.com.
PS: I can also use .qmail files if needed.

What you are looking for is called FCC. Pine should have that support, havn't checked myself.

That won't help :( dot-qmail works with incoming mail ...
Sameer.

Does Qmail distinguish between incoming and outgoing mail? Even if you submit via port 25?

Err ... let's try to walk this through. I open my MUA, and I compose an email. Now my MUA is configured to invoke a sendmail wrapper, or connect to some SMTP server, possibly on the same machine. Either way, once my MUA has spit out the mail, its on its way to the destination SMTP server. How and where do I use my .qmail, so that a copy of that email goes to some specified account?
If you assume root access, please state so.
Sameer.

<snip> There is a feature known as QUEUE_EXTRA, to keep copies of all incoming and outgoing messages, which specifying the additional recipient.

So .qmail is a delivery time feature. In which case it won't work for the OP.

Evening Devdas, <snip> Additional reciepnt is the feature from Qmail itself. So no need to really hack into Qmail to do any changes. Once configured it will send email to additional reciepent, without giving any stamping to real reciepent.

<snip> Very much. One is inbound & other is outbound.
