hi, I had installed yoper when it's first version had come out. Well it did not work out of the box for my hardware.Maybe i didn't have any knowledge about the Xconfig files. But one thing which delighted me about it at that time was it booted very fast and could shutdown as fast as win98(incase u don't have problem of windows hanging while shutting down).Now I am trying gentoo linux. It 's a superb distro.I liked the Package Management System of gentoo i.e,Portage...
