I tried working on this spurios error ( spurious 8259A interrupt: IRQ7 ) that kept creeping up when i booted. Nothing seems to help. I was also just told to ignore the error since it wasnt anything trivial. However, I am not too sure if this is related but, whenever I do major transfers to this box, it ends up hanging. This is a pretty new machine with tons of resources, and seeing it just crash without anything else in the logs to point elsewhere is something rather odd.

Can help me diagnose this issue, I really cant have this go down on me on critical times...
