Hey All
Let me introduce my self first,I'm final yr student of Bharti Vidyapeeth College of Engineering(B.V.C.O.E)-Navi Mumbai.I've been following the mails abt the PRC quite regularly .I talked to my HOD regarding this.He seemed quite enthusiastic about this.
That's great to know that you and your HOD is interested in Linux and PRC.
Now to my question.
What can i/we(my college) do for the PRC ?
To start with organise a seminar for introduction to Linux. This can be done in one or two days. LUG will provide you with lacturures / presenters. That way many students will be introduced to Linux. At the seminar, concept of the PRC can be introduced and students can join various projects.
Let me tell you that not a lot of people in my college know about linux .We're just abt to start a linux group in our college. I believe with more awareness a lot many students might be interested.I'd like to have suggestions on the right way to go abt doing this
cheers venky
