Hi,

I am going to install Fedora Core 3. My knoppix system detected my cable modem (Askey Cable Modem, provided by hathway for cable internet) properly and configured it right. I have plugged the modem is USB and no etthernet or lan link is provided. It is correctly dtected as a network adapter/device in Knoppix and Windows XP. However, suse linux 9.1 personal detects it as a dial up modem rather than a network device. Will it work in Fedora? Any tips/known issues?
