Dear Luggers, I am using RedHat Linux 9 with Windows XP Pro dual boot machine.I have pacenet broadband connection on winXP,which uses pppoe intrigated with pacenet dailer.Now my problem is that how do i use it on RedHat linux.Any ideas or clues please help.

RTFM "rpppoe". Me has got it working for a couple of clients using a DSL connection terminating on CAT5 at the server.

You will first need to get your user id activated for Linux-based access. Call up the Pacenet support phone # and ask them to do it. Don't rely on getting it done thru their support e-mail address. It will never happen.
Thereafter, you can connect using rp-pppoe in-built into RH9 and Fedora. Use 'adsl-setup' to configure it.
