The Problem Description:
Server: IBM xSeries 236 Two HDD to be mirrored OS: RHEL 4[Recommended ]
Required: Hardware RAID (Level 1 - Mirroring) Bios configures SCSI and could build RAID 1 using the system utility. But while installing Linux, diskdruid shows two different HDD instead of One drive for RAID 1.
RHEL 4[2.6.9-5] Tried loading latest drivers from IBM's website while installing linux, but no help.
With software RAID linux gets installed, but not able to use the On-Board RAID controllerfor hardware RAID.
Any more details, let me know. Thanks.....
