hi all,
i have recently switched to mandrake 8.0 only to face a strange difficulty. during installation process, the kernel correctly detected my mouse (however, did not show me the settings!) but after that it stopped. now i have confirmed that the mouse (logitech firstmouse+) and serial port are okay. could someone pls. guide me as to how to configure it. it is mounted on ttyS1 and i have tried "mouse" only to remain in the same state.

Hi,
Even I had a similar problem with Logitech mouse and Mandrake 7.2. While configuring the mouse, I selected Microsoft Mouse and all was fine later. Try that
