The hardware that makes up my PC is worth about Rs. 25000 - 30000, while the software is valued at a few lakhs. I have ASUS motherboard and AMD Athlon XP 1.8 CPU. It is not for sale.

This weekend I assembled a P4-Celeron 1.7Ghz/256DDR/40GB/2.1sound machine for 15,000, sans monitor. Before you buy any secondhand machine these days, make sure you check the market prices. PC prices have fallen down so much that it makes sense to buy a new one.
