Linux 3.0 on AMD Hudson (Gigabyte E350N-USB3).
Had a major struggle getting 5.1 sound going - all kernels between 2.6.32 and 2.6.39 have a problem with ALC892 (something to do with 64bit DMA). The display would not work at all and I had to ssh to get to the machine. Careful inspection of syslog showed a missing radeon binary firmware blob - !@#$ piece of shit I HATE BLOBS - getting it from sid repo solved the problem.
Not much info on this board, it being very new even abroad. I am pleasantly surprised at this board being available a month ago. I decided to purchase this one because coreboot was being ported and presumed there would be no problems, since it's a lot harder to run linux in bios than as a regular kernel.
Now to test 1080P.
