Well, seems that Microsoft has a really serious "viral" infection! :_). Their lawyers have now jumped into the fray, restricting how developers may use what they term "viral software" (the GPL) in connection with Microsoft programming tools.

What it really means though, is that they can no longer compile / distribute code written on NT, because it uses BSD networking code.
The licence also applies to Sun's licence, netscape's licence, and many others.
