i am having a problem in logging in through kdm .previously i used to login through kdm i used to select kde from the list available and go to my kdesktop.but now i am not getting kde as one of the options in the kdm i get kde2 as a option and when i select that option i am still not going to kde.but when i login as root i am able to login to my kdesktop again i dont get kde as a option i only get kde2 but i am able to go to my desktop

i got red hat 7.1 and only kde installed no othe window managers are installed.is reinstalling the only option
