Currently I am using HP nx6325 which is a AMD Turion X2 64 bit processor based laptop. There is some problem with installing Flash9 plugin for firefox in this since we dont have Flash9 available for 64 bit yet.

May be you could try gnash (build the cvs version). http://www.gnu.org/software/gnash/

I use it every day and most of the flash movies work (youtube doesn't work yet, but all the basics, like the flv video codecs, are already in place and just some bugs needs to be fixed for youtube player to work). The next release will play youtube videos.
