We have copies of Mandrake 9 CDs with us. Please call Nilesh at my office and pick it up from our office at Andheri East, Nagardas Road (9821618084).
Incidentally, if you are new to linux, I would suggest try the PCQuest Linux distro.

Does'nt Mumbai LUG have a distro-collection from which users can select and duplicate CDs and get going with their own install? Xandros and Libranet and excellent distros to start out with.

thats a very very general question...what do you have on which you want to implement voip? for a start..look at www.vovida.org and read their tutorials on the protocols..

I strongly disagree with both your comment and the message on the link you have sent. I have loaded PCQuest linux in place of Mandrake 9 which I had acquired a couple of months ago. It loaded seamlessly and has not given me any problem so far. I do not know what it will do if you tweek with it since I have basic uses and not serious technical ones. All my hardware are standard hardware and it detected and worked properly. Incidentally, I use a 810 Motherboard with Intel PIII 800 Mhz, 256 MB ram, 2 x 40GB HDDs, CDWriter, DVDROM and printer.
The major advantage which PCQuest seems to have is that it is modified and packaged to suite the Indian user. Personally, I think it is a good job done.
