If anyone has succeeded in installing the Google Browser Sync Firefox extension on Fedora Core 5, please let me know how you did it. When I try to install it, nothing happens - not even a Firefox message saying installation has been blocked. Googling has brought no joy.
Thanks in advance,
Sujeet

It was on Enforcing. I have now disabled it. Still the same problem.

Problem solved - had to do a search for "google-browsersync.xpi", download it from a non-Google server (i.e. bypassing the Agree and Install step where it was getting stuck) and installing it manually. Even after the install a reboot was required to get it working.

you dont need a reboot for firefox or mozilla extensions, just close firefox completely and re-start it again. Thats it.
