hello luggers, this is regarding my previous mail in which i had sadly informed that we could not hold a workshop in Vivekanand engg. coll. for the PRAXIS festival. i had also said that we could instead have a workshop on behalf of IEEE.
i talked to a person in IEEE vesit chapter today, and he said that there's a *bombay level* symposium coming up in probably 2nd week of april. we could have a gnu/Linux workshop during the sympo. he said that since the sympo is bombay level, there will be a very good response, and that the no. of people (both students and professionals) wil be large.
we could have a stall for selling cds, etc. if we are willing to pay them some money. the exact amount will be decided by them if we are willing to pay them.

If you put me in touch with the organizers of the April event, I will talk to them regarding the waiver of the charges for the stall. FSF India is a non-profit making organization like IEEE.
