Hi,
Muktware is celebrating its first year of establishment. We are planning a slew of new features which will be announced in the coming weeks. To further spread the adoption of [1]GNU/Linux in colleges and schools today we are announcing two features for college and school students - Student News section and Foss @ School Forum.
Student News: This section will be run and controlled by college students, covering the news reports from your college campus. If you are organizing an event in your school or college; if you are planning a Linux Install Fest or similar events you can post a report about it on Muktware and let us spread the word. If you happen to meet a Linux expert, you can conduct an interview and publish it on Muktware. There a few pointers from us, you can go beyond this and use Muktware as a platform. Keep one thing in mind: quality. Publish what will help the adoption of GNU/Linux in college and schools. Foss @ School Forums: If you are a college/school student and you want to get connected other students who are using Linux for their projects, you can use our Forum to get connected with such students. If you need help with choosing right operating system for you; getting advice about right application to suite your needs; if you are stuck with some problem and seek help from those who have already faced similar issues -- use our forums. If you want to create a website for your school, but are not sure how to do it, use this forum to seek help from your friends.
