I want to configure a low configuration machine (Ideally P1 or P2) With Linux Console Only, Which can work as Dedicated Internet GW/Firewall.
Is there any Linux-Flavor Only giving the same ?
I want only Logs to be mentained along with it !

I suggest debian, select minimum packages you need. Also select X so that you can xterm.(plain X without Desktop Environment)
apt-get install acct for account logs
and dselect further needed packages

Revant... I am sure it's the proverbial typo... But please it MUST be foolproof.

A minimal install of just about any distro will do it. I recommend Debian. Some of the more user-friendly distros, like Ubuntu, may have a minimal install that includes too much for your purpose.

Smoothwall, IPCop, Coyote Linux, come to mind. There are many others - Google search for them.
I have used Smoothwall on a 486DX2 w/ 32MB RAM and 300MB HD - works great! Management is via browser (SSL/TLS) - you can view logs etc.
