Kind Attn: Rony Sir
I had made a request earlier for a Seminar on GNU/Linux and got a good response for the same. Novell India's Employee decided to conduct but due to some time constraints, it could go further.
Recently, I read the minutes of the past meeting, and found that GLUG MUMBAI plans to conduct workshops for awareness.
I study in S. K. Somaiya College of Arts, Science and Commerce pursuing Third Year BSc (I. T.). We have department of I.T. and Computer Science and a few students would be interested to know about GNU/Linux.
Kindly inform me how does GLUG plans to go about this and what I am supposed to be doing and who to be in touch with.

7. GNU/Linux Applications - Productivity, Games, Graphics, Multimedia, Development, Embedded, Clusters, Grids, Super Computing, Internet Access, Various types of Servers/Services.
8. Getting Help / Help Resources - Manual Pages, Howto Documents, TLDP.org, Mailing Lists, Local LUGs, Google and many on-line resources.
Duration: 1 Day (9:30am - 18:00pm)
Date (Proposed):28th Jan 2006 / 4th Feb. 2006 / 18th Feb. 2006
Venue: Decided by organiser.
Equipments: 1/2 PCs with projection to be provided by organiser.
I for one is available for speaking on the proposed dates or any other mutually agreed dates. I would invite other speakers to come forward and put their name in front of the preferred topic(s).
And please don't flame for top posting.
With regards,
