hi suresh,
i have read some sales docs of trustix. basically to me what appears is that they have taken stable rh7.x system and stripped down packages everything to bare minimum. ie if not required its not there [ packages / services / libs / etc ]. so it eventually tends to become more secure and manageable.
my take is that anyone with decent admin exp and who knows what he wants his systems to do can setup a secure system. you can even check out tools towards hardening os.
this link has some good pointers http://www.linux-sec.net/Harden/howto.gwif.html
happy computing harsh

Hi
i havent deployed trustix on any of my live systems as i didnt get a chance to do it.
but i have tested it and its worthy since the services are turned off by default. And more-over the system by default has high security (firewall and services) ...
