I was going to send an angry letter to the list as to why the FOSS community is not active while the decision is being made instead of being reactive like this.I read it in the Indian Express.It seems the CM will use the "advice" of MS for the centralized online junior college admissions process too.Happy reacting!

I think Jitendra Shah was involving in education sector in MH. May be he can throw some lights on some activities regarding this. Why and how this happened.. etc..

You don't need Mr. Jitendra Shah to comment. Somebody got paid, that's how it happened. That's how all things government related happen.
No RFP, no tendering, no meeting of stake holders, no nothing. How the heck can someone act or react.
If you followed the money, you will find many officials' relatives "studying" at ivy league uni's abroad. Ofcourse their god fathers worked hard to get them there. And M$ is just helping some more in the "education" process. Even a thick hide stone head like me gets DEPRESSED.
