Then just delete your old configuration.
just remove $HOME/.kde/share/apps/kppp folder and follow the steps I had given.
Try wvdial also.
Thanks -Sachin

Hello
I am facing some hardware issues (Modem/1394 port) with latest FC2 on my home desktop. Many of them are compatible with 2.4 ver of Kernel. I am new to linux and when I tried to install the older kernel it gave me the below error:
[root@localhost f]# rpm -i --nosignature kernel-2.4.22-1.2115.nptl.i586.rpm --oldpackage error: kernel-2.4.22-1.2115.nptl.i586.rpm: MD5 digest: BAD Expected(a45b53481a0213793a0557d3cb83d60c) != (8a1608a13bbaf750e944e5c33cfc6d7f) error: kernel-2.4.22-1.2115.nptl.i586.rpm cannot be installed
Please suggest as I am not able to use any external devices with Linux had have to revert back to Windows XP for internet or to connect my Camcorder.
regards Prabhakar
