red hat install problem

Hi I created 2 partitions , / and /swap and set their mount points on a secondary 2.1 Gb hdd.(slave) (hdb) The loading takes place frm MBR (which i figure has to be my master 4.3 hdd)(hda). I cant seem to boot into win/dos at boot time , LILO doesnt give any options after pressing TAB. How do i reclaim my data on windows ? How do I restore to original system , I distinctly remember deleting HDA's partitions for the mount points from the list before loading linux redhat 6.2. Could anybody be kind enough to give me his phone number so that somebody could walk me through the process of retracting old information(which is vv imp : ( :( ) Tript __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Help with library libmng.so.0 reqd

hi there guys, i wanted to install opera ( the web browser) for linux and needed to upgrade qt for this purpose. it seems qt 2.2 needs libmng.so.0, s i got this file (libmng.so.0) too. can anyone tell me where to place this lib file so that the qt install sees it. i have tried copying it to /lib , but i still get an error msg. plz hlp bye navin

If they do not, then you have lost your data. Hey Kiran, My friend Ameya had the same prob. n he sayz u gotta set the var LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/ora8/m01/app/oracle/product/8.1.6/lib/ where /ora8/m01/app/oracle/product/8.1.6/ is the ORACLE_HOME dir n then... export LD_LIBRARY_PATH Do this on the console n then try startin Apache. Hope this helps dude. Hi, I have configured Raid 1 on Intel 440GX Motherboard, 1GB RAM, 18 x 2 GB HDD, Intel SRC 31U Raid Card with 128 MB RAM. When I start installation of RH 7.1 is gives the following error message & exists the installation "No block device found" The installation aborts right in after it detects the mouse. After configuring RAID 1 on the System it shows 17GB as disk space (which it is doing correctly). Can anyone help me on this one. I need a solution to this problem very urgently.
