SuSE 8.0

Where can I get SuSE 8.0 (that is the latest version I think). Some place near Powai would be really nice. We need to install SuSE on one of the Dept. servers, since Oracle is apparently supported only on SuSE! Outlook Mails to Linux

showmount error

All, I have been getting this error on my RH7.1 server. mount clntudp_create: RPC: Port mapper failure - RPC: Unable to send "portmapper" service apparently seems to be working fine. But this error shows that it is NOT. Can anybody give me a clue asap? --

hello lug members... I am computer science and engg. student and am in the third year. I am pretty comfortable with development and can work wonders with 'C'. I aspire to do some summer training in these holidays... and would love it if it was something to do with Linux because everyone says that development is easier in Linux.
