Well I have tried D4x and it is a better dload manager than prozilla . My connection bandwidth was used really well . Only one problem is that it cannot connect redirected urls . Also can anyone tell me how can I integrate it with my opera browser ? So that i can use D4x as my default download manager .

[ILUG-BOM]Installation problem

I am unable to install Redhat Linux 6.1 or 7.3 on my new Intel 845GVAD2 motherboard with PIV 2.4 GHz. It gives me some anaconda, pythan ,etc error with an ok and debug button as options in ver 6.1 whereas in ver 7.3 it says some anaconda script error occured. it ejects the cd and says it is now safe to reboot the system. i tried installing linux ver9 and it installed perfectly. but i want to use ver 6.1 or 7.3 since i am building a cache server on it. please help. btw, i just returned the hyperthreading board processor and sata hard disk since it is not supported at all by ver 6.1 or 7.3. please help nelson

Please furnish more info about the vid card you use, if its integrated into the the motherboard and such info. Was the original Knoppix you had downloaded working fine on your hardware? Right now, you might want to boot Knoppix to console and try probing your hardware, if you are sure that support for your AGP is included in teh version of X that is included in teh Knoppix version. -- cheers

hi, I have remasterd the KNOPPIX..., But......X does not start... The messege is....... ******************************************* staring X11 Retrying with server XFree86(vesa) Retrying with server XFree86(fbdev) Error : No suitable X server found for your card... ******************************************* What went wrong ???????????? I might have missed some libraries/packages. can anybody tell me the solution.... I'm not able to login as root in X window mode. = How to close X window and start console mode? my mouse is not working= properly in linux. There are two ways to it you could use font based method, where you select the font and type, so font tags are used for it, and that particular font has to be installed on client side. Dynamic fonts can be used, but they won't work on GNU/Linux. Another way is to make webpages in unicode. On GNU/Linux you can use Redhat 9/MDK 9/ Morphix, all of which have Gnome 2.0. Here you will have to do all html coding urself. Mozilla composer can also be used, but its not yet supporting rendering (the stable releases).
