Dear abbasali,
the rh9 stock kernel does not have support for ntfs file systems, so u'll have to rebuild ur kernel with modular ntfs support..... Learn kernel hardening thats it.. simple search the internet for steps...
Read the "kickstart howto" that'll help you install rh9 over the network on intel pc's (identical ones) using NFS....
ur's cyberly,
bijucyborg
1) I have installed RH9 and Win2K server
Inorder to access some data on my ntfs partiton
/dev/hda1 i typed in the following command
mount -t ntfs /dev/hda1 /mnt/win2K
But it says
mount: fs type ntfs not supported by kernel
How do i go about handling this ???
2) Also i want to do a network installation of RH9 ...
can u just brief me bout how do i do that ???
Abbasali
