wine + internet explorer

hi when i tried to install IE6 using Wine(windows Emulator) it just asks for n/w proxy for installation and then tried to connect to somesite for further download and could not download anything so quits. any guess or fundaes highly appreciated. regards Nilesh -- Nilesh Birari Software Engg Powailabs pvt ltd. FEEL??? Skin show sells very well indeed. During the dotcom bust porn sites were raking in the moolah. Sometime back there was a russian tv channel where the news reader would strip as she read all the news. This was during the worst days of Yelstin's rule. It was absolutely hilarous. The punch was a voice over which said that the newsreader visual was true to the best of their knowledge, Implying that everything else was crap. rgds jtd

Not forgetting that u could start with a 256mb pendrive, or add a hardisk, or cdrom. Linux compatible motherboard...

Hey people, My friend wants to buy a Linux friendly motherboard. The dealer is giving him the following options: 1. MSI RS480M2 for AMD64 2800+ 2. Intel 845GVSR for P4 2.4Gig 3. Intel 915GAV(i think, not sure) for a P4 2.66Gig His requirements: 1. Basic development PC, nothing much 2. Must be able to run Madrake(Mandriva) 10.1 Official 3. Alternatively he should be able to run SuSE 9.1 PE which is quite old and hence I question the availability of drivers for recent hardware. 4. He is a newbie so everything must work out of the box. Don't expect him to compile drivers and stuff...forget a kernel recompile. Please give your opinions and suggest a better, more compatible motherboards. I personally own an Intel 865GBF motherboard which works correctly with all distros. No tweaking required. Thanks. -- Dinesh A. Joshi

However this board does not have vga out and afaik is very picky about the ram, besides being expensive. Only advantage is size. The Via PV CLE266 MII 1.6ghz is excellent at Rs.3050 + 4%. It has two pci slots onboard mpeg4 decoder, X drivers etc but is large than the miniitx. I have been using these and have one at the abv price. rgds jtd

Hi all, I am trying to install fetchmail using forwarding, after the mails get downloaded to single account to the linux box locally from one real pop account, how I am I actually transfer to appropriate to the mail boxes.
