Hi, http://mumbai.mtnl.net.in/helpdesk/gifs/ads/revealad150905.jpg is the URL for looking at the advertisement that may have appeared in local newspapers. However, there's something called as Unlimited Free Uploads. So that means that they are only going to consider the surfing of sites and downloads of software from download.com (or any other site...) and not consider the attachements that are uploaded.... disable "fsck" during RH bootup sequece

Hi All, Did anyone tried to disable "fsck" during RH9 boot up sequence, but not through /etc/fstab. I want the file system,to be forcibly checked for every 10th mount. Thanks Milind

where is Xaccess file in Debian?

hi, just installed debian testing on one the machines on LAN. i want to remote login to that machine using its GDM. i have never done this before. the documentation i found on tldp starts with editing the /etc/X11/xdm/Xaccess file. but that file is not present on the system. i tried looking in other files of that dir. but no help. so how does one go about doing remote X logins by XDMCP? thanks in advanced. -- " The hardest thing in life is to do nothing - 'cause you never know when your finished..."

Modem Help

Hi all ! I have installed RHEL 3 on my machine. Installation has gone very smooth . Now , linux properly recognizes the modem .It takes it on port ppp0. i have entered the required parameters like my isp user name , password ... but when i click on Acttivate Button , it fails to activate and throws an error "Failed to connect to tata with error 8" here tata is my isp .
