I have been using the IBM R40E modem successfully on a 2.4.18 Kernel with slmodemd (http://www.google.co.in/search?hl=en&q=slmodemd&btnG=Google+Search&meta=) I dont remember the version number. But it did work well enough. If you need more info I could look into the version number, etc and let you know. I haven't used much of the modem since Reliance and Dataone. > Nikhil -Animesh

My friend has an IBM r40e with Agere systems modem. She has Yoper running on it but it didn't recognise the modem. Does anyone have a r40e with a successful detect of the modem. If yes please tell me which distro. I have found a driver but not tried it yet. Postfix and content filter

Hello We are currently running Postfix on our E-mail server and wish to implement a content filter. The one we are now using (Amavisd-new) does not allow us to strip a mail from an undesired attachment but rather quarantines the whole e-mail. We would like your advise on a product / add-on that would be able to achieve this. [OT] Hardware Query.

Hello All, Right now I am in a dilemma situation and need some help from the experts. Has anyone installed a Decklink Extreme Video Edit card before? http://www.blackmagic-design.com/products/sd/specs/ I have to install it in a new studio grade system whose mobo is Asus A8N SLI Premium. The main PCI Express slot will be used by a high end Nvidia graphics card. http://usa.asus.com/products4.aspx?l1=3&l2=15&l3=0&model=539&modelmenu=1 The stupid part is that even the Decklink people don't know which slot to mount the card. They sell the card only. It is a PCI Express card and the site says its compatible to PCI Exp. x1, x4, x8 and x16 slots. This 'washing of hands' by the dealer is taking place after the order is under execution, so I just need to know which slot can I install the card.
