hello guys, do anyone knows where i could get dual layer PCB printed, its proxmark3 pcb, i had contacted some companies but the are too high some asking abt 4000rs for single PCB Thank u, Jalinder.

THE OPEN DATA INDIC CHALLENGE Speaker: Ms. Alolita Sharma Time: Friday, 30 May 2014, 2:00pm Venue: Conference Room, C Block, 01st Floor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Kanwal Rekhi (KReSIT) Building, IIT Bombay, Powai, Mumbai. Abstract: India has 23 official languages which have millions of native users as well as many more smaller languages supported by 8 major scripts, distinct vocabularies and grammatical rules. But when it comes to Wikipedia and other large repositories of user generated content on the Web, all these languages are very poorly represented compared to their real world usage. There are many factors for this anomaly on the Web ranging from access to the Internet and computing devices to lack of language tools such as fonts and input tools and linguistic resources such as dictionaries, terminology glossaries, structured and linked data. As the Web transforms itself into the mobile Web, an enormous opportunity to access and distribute information in Indic languages to billions of people is at stake. To make this opportunity real, user generated content needs to be jumpstarted with open data of all categories. Non-digital forms of dictionaries, terminology glossaries, geo-data - all kinds of categorized data need to be transformed into digitally consumable, standardized, and structured open data repositories which can be leveraged by users to create and contribute digital content on platforms like Wikipedia. This talk will examine the barriers and solutions in creating open data repositories for Indic languages leveraging platforms like Wikipedia and language technologies for reading and creating content on the Web and mobile Web. -- Siji Sunny

Handicapped after moving from 13.10 to 14.04

HP Pavilion X2 worked almost fine on Ubuntu 13.10. Touchpad (stop working after sometime), Touch Screen. WebCam, WiFI worked fine. On upgrading to Ubuntu 14.04, everything above mentioned stopped working. Even external USB mouse fail to work. Never expected such a situation. Similar thing I heard from other with different hardware. Is there issue of drivers with Ubuntu 14.04 or Is there something I missed? How to manage it to bring to life. It does not have Ethernet card. Only WiFI is there. -- H.S.Rai

I have installed 14.04 (64 bit, desktop) on a Dell Vostro 1310 (2009). No issues after installation (as yet). The mouse (external, USB) as well as the touch-pad works nicely. U N Gaitonde

I was waiting in line at the train station today because one of the ATVMs was down. As I looked more closely, I noticed my old friend Rxvt (or is that Xterm?) appearing where it probably shouldn't: http://b.rontosaur.us/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/atvm.jpg (As a side note, this is why you should probably not use username or hostname in your prompt for kiosks -- there's no need for any user to ever know either of those things...) I'm also trying to figure out what the underlying window manager is; those widgets look almost NeXT-ish. WMG

Inquiry/complaint regarding use of bus pass on route 311.

Hello, I have been using a pass for routes from Santacruz station to Kurla station. This included route no 311. However now the bridge near Air India colony, Kalina has been closed due to repairs. Therefore the route 311 had been cut short at Air India colony. Now the conductor is not accepting the pass, saying that there is no bus anymore in that route and I need to buy a ticket. Why must the passenger be penalised if the BEST has cut short a route due to some repair work? I request you to please clarify the correct position in this case.
