I have a tape device(/dev/st0) attached on a debian system. I want to access this tape from another linux machine. I can do mt related command using ssh from other machine. But I am not able to use rdump and rrestore to this tape drive from other machine. When I give command rrestore -if abcd.res.in:/dev/st0
It gives abcd.res.in: connection refused login to abcd.res.in as root is failed.
I have entered proper entries in ~root/.rhosts and /etc/equiv. Can anybody help on this. Can anybody suggest expert opinion.
