This is a note on setting up the Epson LX300 dot matrix printer in FC4.
On the top task bar panel, go to Desktop > System Settings > Printing.
Here add your printer and for the driver, select 'Generic'. In its sub list, select 'ESC/P Dot Matrix Printer'. On the rightside, there is a small drop down list of 'Available Drivers'. Select 'eps9high'. In the next tab called 'Driver Options' set your page size and for resolution, select '240x216'. Select OK, apply your new settings and your lx300 is ready to print even better quality print outs as compared to windows. :)
