APC BACK-UPS ES 500VA will be good choice. It has a good backup time. Actually backup time will depend on the load you want to run, if you have a LCD monitor and single HDD, and use good power saving features, this UPS will give much better backup than what you need. Dont know current market price, must be around 2K.
