Hi, I want to login to one of my linux7.3 machine directly to console as root. But the server is not allowing me todo so. each and every time I have to login with some user and then I have to do su. What are the changes that I have to do to have direct remote login for the root. Thanks in Advance.. Uma.

When i untared it the permission on the folder were 700 and the owner and group to changed to another user and group.....can someone tell me why this happens ..and how do i avoid it.
