Internet using a Reliance phone

It just looks good. I like command line linux/uni= x for what it is - however, I have a big big problem with its GUI. Th= e fonts, the widgets, the ratios. The numerous GUI toolkits aren't he= lping a standardisation either. Windows looks great - because = everything is consistent. The size of the icons, the fonts, buttons, = etc. Everything goes well with each other. I'm waiting for a the day = I can find a distro with a WM that maintiains consistency in terms if= sizes of widgets and fonts and all the related things resulting in a= very very smoothly integrated and polished interface. I want the app= s to use the native WM widgets, regardless of what TK they were devel= oped using. Hi Trevor, "Professional RedHat 9 Linux Secrets" by Naba Barkakati has an excellent chapter 22 pg 648 for literature on how to go abt System and Network security. There is a point to point explanation on the foll topics 1. Learning a security test methodology. 2. Understanding Computer security audits. 3. A review on all security testing tools. 4. Performing risk analysis. 5. Establishing a security policy. along with the ususal encryption e.t.c. If any novice (like me) is attempting a go @ Network and System security, this one is worth a dekko. And for experts I suggest it proves as a handbook. Novell netware to Linux migration Guide

HI I have couple of Novell Netware 4.11 based servers mainly used for DOS based client for remote booting and legacy application. I really like Novell NDS service. It is extremely convenient way of managing servers. I want to now migrate to Novell NetWare to Linux (Suse Linux). Are there any comprehensive How-tos or guides available? Thank you Komal

Webcams which one to use

Which model of locally available USB webcams work with 2.4.24 kernel. I used to use the dlink duc 300 (ov511 chip), which is not available any more. The dlink DSB-C300 uses divio nw802 (or something similar) which produces a horrid black image :-( . Both of the above have 640x480 pixel resoluion@15fps. similar resolution webcam would be good but not essential (i will settle for CIF /SIF).
